If this is still considered a REVIEW OF PARADISE COVE PETS I would like to put in my 2 cents.
The corner stone of any good buisness is it's employees, and I consider Dave & Joe the two best in town. There knowledge, friendliness, and patience seems to be above and beyond the call.
Especially Dave, who over the last three years at Aqua Pets or Paradise Cove Pets has answered an incredible array of questions with first hand knowledge, but non-condescending attitude. This is not a knock on any other lfs in town,as I have had great experiencies at all of them. It's just an acknowledgment of what I consider the two best employees.
Thank You
Mike

PS
Dave I wrote it just the way you told me to,I hope this gets you the raise. JUST KIDDING EVERYONE I wrote this of my own free will and being of semi-sound mind and body

Got all the snails.

Thanks for the Unbiased, unpaid endorsement of our employees. They are the BEST in town, but I don't know about the raise just yet. Soon!

Thanks again,

I have to agree with Mike. The entire staff there makes it worth the trip to Bellevue. Joe and Dave are always helpful and never talk down to you if you are searching for answers. This is one of the best stores because of the employees attitudes and costumer service. In other LFS I have waited 45 minutes for assistance because they only have one person working or they just don't care. At one store I waited for a half hour while they mopped the floor. I never did get anyone to help me and there was only one other customer in the store so I just left and won't be going back.

Because you guys have been so supportive with our Staff here at Paradise Cove we would like to increase our customer service for you a little more. This week Joe & Dave will be getting online at least once a day to answer any questions you might have. If they can't answer your questions they will do some research and get back to you ASAP. If you have suggestions or comments { positive or not } please feel free to post them. We will not take offense to any feedback and we will do our best to accommodate your suggestions. Remember this is your store!
We are also experiencing a strong growth in our S/W sales lately so we will be increasing the size of our shipments to handle the demand. As soon as we have our web site up and running we will publish a list of inventory on a weekly basis.

Again, Thank you for supporting us.

Jeff,

I have a question for you and I see this in all of the Omaha stores, not just PC Pets, but you participate frequently here so I will ask you.

I know there are a lot of people like myself that visit the LFS often to find something for their tank but if you are not at the stores within a few hours of a shipment arriving about the only thing left is snails and yellow tangs. If you know things are selling this quickly why not get 2 shipments a week or maybe even three? Is it economics (cash flow), availability, risk managment, space, or something else? Everytime I am in one of the LFS I see people come and go, leaving quickly if the selection is limited so I always wonder why the stores don't keep their tanks full all of the time instead of 1 or 2 days a week.

Blackcows,

I would have to say all of the above, but mostly cash flow. If I had enough money to start with my tanks would be full all the time. We are building this store from scratch without any working capital. We have had to build our customer traffic by mostly word of mouth, It is on a steady climb. We have have been increasing our orders based on the previous weeks sales. I haven't seen everything dissapear right after it comes in, it usually last through the weekend. If there is anything thing you need we will order it for you. I am also looking for investors so that we can finish this place out and then look to opening more stores. Everything takes time and money!

Willie,

Mag 950 is around 119.00 / Mag 700 - 89.00
Rio 900 is around 89.00 / Rio 748 - 75.00

I was wondering if I could get a price on a 150 gal. Oceanic tank. It would be the 5x2x2. This will be a penisula tank so the overflow would have to be at one end of the tank. Thanks for any info.

mike

mike- oceanic 156 gallon reef ready ( 60x24.5x24.75) with end overflow would run $1000.00 plus tax and take four weeks to get to me. let us know, joe @ pcpets

Bill, Come on in and we will order it for you. It will be here Thurs. next week.
