Revive - Green Star Polyps

I'm not sure you CAN harm gsp :lmao:. I should reconsider getting some for my tank, frags are so cheap/free and it is a beautiful coral so long as you contain it.

GSP = Frankenstein coral

Will a Revive dip harm green star polyps?

I sure HOPE it harms them! I can't stand GSP anymore. It's knocked over/off my rock full of Zoanthids. I thought it had completely died and used that rock, then a few months later, 1 polyp"¦ Then 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64"¦

Put them on a separate and isolated rock. Trim back with scissors as needed. Start the trimmings on new rocks and trade back to your lfs.

My wife demands i keep GSP, loves the glowing green wavy grass look. Was my 1st starter softy coral, the canary in the tank.... and like Sk8r mentioned kept on its own rock & its no prob at all, the LFS does get frags from me at least 3 times a yr. it grows that fast! Careful lonely placement is a must i agree totally or on a frag rack.

Ultimately my lfs could take no more. I felt like a murderer having to trash a foot-wide sheet of the stuff from my side glass.

I know what you mean about tossing out verses donating or trading at the LFS. I have one shop nearby & another 25mi away and luckily the nearby shop always has space for coral frags and colonies or id have to do the long drive since i usually get an unusual trade coral frag in return to mess with at the larger shop but the nearby one will take anything if im short on time.
Too bad packing & shipping live coral is such a delicate pita leaves few choices.
