Revive

Can u make a gallon of it and keep it long term? I buy corals frequently and would b annoyed if I had to mix a half gallon to gallon of it and have to waste a half gallon to gallon of the stuff with every coral purchase. I posted here because I mainly buy LPS.
Your response is greatly appreciated. Thanx!

I'm not sure. But it is plant based so it should be OK for a while. But it's easier to just make what you need. The directions call for 4 caps (40ml) per gallon. So it's easy enough to make a quart with 10ml or half of that with 5ml of Revive IMO. A syringe is easy to use - but precise measurements aren't really needed as using a little more doesn't hurt anything as this product is non toxic (this statement does not apply to other brands that use iodine for example).

exactly, usually for small frags I just put 1-2 quarts in a half gallon or gallon bucket and add 1-2 cap fulls of revive, works great.

I would think you could mix a larger amount and keep it a while, would just have to make sure it doesnt evaporate raising salinity and that you keep it at the right temp somehow so you dont shock the corals when dipping. In the end, best bet is to email the manufacturer and ask they recommendations on storing pre-mixed solutions.

This is what I do. Besides my wife hates it when I start storing stuff.

I just do smaller batches, no worrying about temp, evap, storing it, anything like that. Though i use coralrx, its the same dosing amount, i just use one capful per quart of water.

I have done the same. Works and smells exactly like revive (Pinesol!)
A couple of capfuls at room temp and good to go.

Thanx everybody for responding. I suck at math but figured out that 1 capfull per quart is enough for my purposes. Thank the Gods for a measurement conversion chart.
