Reviving a black sun polyp coral?

I slacked off on feeding it and now it will not open up. It was in light and so I moved it out the the light but still no change. Any suggestions?

The same as previous answers: keep it in contact with food, for prolonged time - up to 1.5 hrs. It could be container feeding, repeated showering by food every 5-10 min with flow off and on again and again, or adding cyclop eeze or other food into the water (to induce feeding responce, another options is just feed fish, if you feed a lot) and 20 min later placing mysis onto mouths. Within week it may start to open, then it will be easier.
Good luck!

I cut the bottom off of a small plastic water bottle and put it over mine to feed, i squirt in a mysis mix, and most of the heads will get something and be very happy.
I leave it for about an hour and when i come back, it's ready for more.
i had to put the cover on mine because the fish were stealing the mysis right out of the sun corals mouths.

I would try enticing it with food or feeding your fish a bit. When mine since nutrients, they tend to open up so I can target feed them mysis.
