Reviving pink Scoly

Does any one have any suggestions or advise on how to revive this Pretty much gone Scoly? Iv always wanted a Scoly but didn't want to pay $250+ on a Scoly. So my friend gave me this one for free sense it was mostly died. Does any one have any advise?

A month back he gave me these raindow brain Coral he called them. When I got them there were almost in the same condition but the school he is a little worse. And they r coming back Nicly

Wow the scoly looks awfully rough. A gaping mouth is a bad sign. If it closes up and can feed, recovery might be possible. You never know. Give it a try. Check out the "Rescue Coral" thread on this forum. Lots of good ideas and stories there. Good luck with both your corals.

Question for the Group: Can dead scolys regenerate baby polyps the way fungia (plate) corals often do?
