Rev's 240g Starfire DREAM tank!

Ok I got some questions!

I have my lighting coming Friday and I want to prepare them of course for the tank. I got 3 Luminmax Elites and I want to hang them from a sliding rail attached to the canopy or a light rack possibly. I want to be able to slide them out of the way for maintenance.

Anybody have an idea on what I can use? This is for the sole purpose of moving them out of the way. Thanks.

I've seen lots of different approaches to sliding and lifting light racks. What will work best probably depends on your canopy plans. Are you planning on an enclosed canopy with a top or something else?

Sorry, I wish I could be of better help. :)

BTW, I like the rock. I was at Marc's place a couple months ago to pick some Fiji up. It was before he started selling the Deco Rock. How do you like it? Judging from the pics, it looks pretty porous.

Dude, Rev, you are cracking me up. I ordered the tank from ocea as well and he is finished and I will be meeting him just north of Memphis next week as well. Teh tank I ordered is just 4" wider then yours. The really funny thing is I have ordered the exact same skimmer, refectors, bulbs, return pump, and 4 tunze 2105's. I can't wait to share pics. of our tanks. Man, I need to start a build thread.

Sweet Rev, I really like your wainscotting on the walls! Going to be a great build cant wait to see it.

Thank Ryan I can't wait to get the tank in!

I hope the stain looks good. I am going with an espresso color.

WOW whata great build, coming bsack from afghanistan and seeing all the great pictures of your new equipment i like the pic of the reefflo skimmer Rev with the saying that was easy

Make sure she makes nice with her little brother. :D

Wow, that's quite the packing job that Reeflo does with their skimmers. Very nice piece of equipment you got there.

I agree, love the wainscotting. :D

LOL! Awesome! What are the specs of your tank?

the tank is 72" * 34" * 25" with starfire glass on the front and sides. with 48" external overflow. It is eurobraced with holes drilled in the center of the back eurobracing for my returns. It also has black silicone.
I also had him drill 2- 1 1/2" holes in the eurobracing in the back corners for my tunze cords to go through.
