ps. that is not my individual in the pic, but I took it from the article on RB about Goldenbacks from yesterday?
Great pic...the pictured is an amazingly small 8-9 inches...mine is the more standard 11 inch beast model...
how did yours acclimate?
btw...my Cinereus has really settled down...he swims all over and is very comfortable around me...he has a huge appetite and loves anything, esp fresh clams/shrimp...a very mellow fish, esp considering his size, but not shy and will toss his weight around if need be...
wow awesome fish.I've had mine for a year and it is a model citizen.never bothers anyone eats like a fiend loves nori ,silversides and clam. Also the fish is much better looking in person.
Thanks bud...just got some silversides for the Cinereus- does yours eat them too? most of my trigs seem to avoid them...I have not fed them to the Cinereus yet...glad about the temperment too...
No problems acclimating him?
thinking I am going to do it in the box he comes in and not a 5 gallon bucket- he is too big for the bucket...
i acclimated in a bucket about 60 minutes with a drip line and he didn't like being netted once in the tank he was fine .setteled in almost instantly same as my Cinereus.I had a cleaner wrasse to add witrh both the Cinereus and goldenback and that seemed to help a lot by occupying the other fish. good luck with yours cant wait to see some pics of it once in your tank
thanks...my African Cleaner Wrasse was doing great in my qt for the past 6 weeks- ate everything and loved to clean my Queen Trig...but I think my Finescale Trig got him...have not seen him in 2 days- huge bummer...
Gonna acclimate mine for a few hours and then keep lights off for a couple days...gonna add a bit more Marco too...
