Hey Duce, welcome to the wonderfull world of rhizos!
I have noticed that as long as they're fed, they are pretty forgiving. I have done nothing abnormal for them in my tank (parameter wise), however I did end up shading them.
Flow wise, mine are in very low flow, but I have seen pics earlier in this thread where they are obviously in much higher flow than mine are. Their tentacles are flowing strongly in one direction. In other words, I believe they are very forgiving in that aspect as well. HTH, GL, and ENJOY!

I guess you didn't go for that sweet red one at Atlantis 'cuz I ended up getting it
. I can't wait to see it in person later this week, the picture was frickin insane...I couldn't say no. I also picked up a nice white one from Todd at Cherry Corals coming in tomorrow. I'll definatley get some pictures up later in the week once they both get settled in.
For those of you with multiple Rhizos, can they be close together or tenticle even touching or will they war with each other???

From what I have found, theres not a whole lot known about their runners. We know that they can reproduce and "connect" to each other via these runners, but in terms of attaching to LR and what not, I dont know. I have my rhizos in the sand, and I counted the runners to see if more would grow between tank moves (I'm in the midst of a build - about 2 months left). I'm interested to find out though because my new system is BB = no sand, so I'm ondering how I should go about attaching them to the LR. I was thinking a little epoxy on their side to a smallish piece of rock to hold them steady, yet remain somewhat mobile if necessay. Epoxying them by the side would allow for the runners to still be exposed.

They can be put right next to each other with no problems. I have my pink and white right next to each other, and when they really expand at night, the tentacles touch.

about the runners that on the bottom of rhyzo i had it for over 1year it dont grow and didt see any tentacles that come out. dont know how they eat? i did post a forum and ask and see anyone have success with them but no help. anyway here a pic of him look at the bottom of him

My rhizo picture few days ago. I have this rhizo over 10 minths. It is easy to take care. You only need to feed with fish once a week. Keep in low light and low flow.
