Hi all, for any of you seahorse and pipefish freaks out there, we have six ribboned seadragons. They are kind of a cross between a pipefish and a seadragon. Pretty cool looking and we are only one of three places in the world that have them now. They are in the tank by the Leafy Seadragons.

Mitch,
I took my son to the zoo yesterday to trick or treat, and I have to say I was very impressed with the tanks! All the tanks have changed a little since the last time I was there and they all looked beautiful. I was also impressed that you have filled in all the spaces. For a long time there was broken displays, but yesterday each one was filled to the brim! My son also enjoyed the finding nemo theme in the shark display (the turtle, stingray, and various other fish all in with the sharks).

They are a tropical fish, so we keep them around 78 or so. Not sure what the life expectantcy is, but I would guess 4-5 years or so.

you plan on tring to breed them? that would be awesome

Hopefully. They are all still young, so we'll see. These are all the first captive bred ones, so it can be done.
