On the other hand, the other rics are in their normal colorations.

Can anyone tell me whats the cause of this mysterious phenomenon?

Thanks.

Beautiful tank first off.

The brown spots look similar to flatworms kinda. If they don't move Thank obviously they aren't but from what I see on my phone it definitely looks like em.

Thanks, the spots are really flat worms because when I gently poke the ric the brown things will scatter away. What can I do??

If you can remove the ricordea you can try dipping it in say lugols or something like that you can also treat a small container of water with flatworm exit. But the sooner you get them out and off the better. You don't want them to spread to the rest of your tank. If its isolated to that ric or the surrounding ones try to remove and quarantine them for the time being. Take a look over the rest of your tank as well, very carefully now that you know what you are looking for.

Thanks for your advises, I ordered some flat worm eating wrasse from my lfs and hope they will arrive soon.

I had a flatworm problem last year, bought an adorned wrasse and within less than a week, all the flatworms were gone. The bad thing was he ate all my cluster dusters.

Thanks.
I bought a six-line wrasse and most of my worms are eaten.
Yes, I use carbon in my filter canister to get rid of harmful substances.
