Rice snails!

I have rice snails on almost all my turbo snails.

any ideas on how to get rid of them?

i have a six line wrasse and she dose not seem to touch them.

when i see a turbo with them one it I take the snail out and scrub the rice snails off under running water in the sink.

Once a week i take my clams out (the ones that are'nt attach) and scrub them under running water.

I'm starting to freak out!

Yep been doing it for about 4mo it dose not seem to bother them a bit with in 2-3min of being returned to the tank they are fully opened up like nothing ever happend

I heard a story of a guy that was fresh water dipping his clam and forgot about it ended up leaveing it over night in fresh water the next moring relized what he'd done and returned the clam to the tank after a hour the clam was opened and doing fine

Keep in mind some clam are exposed to air during low tide so they can close up very tight sealing them selfs off to the outside

some reef safe wrasses are reported to eat snails IIRC, but they can't always reach the underside of a clam. Chitin synthesis inhibitors (pesticide) comes to mind, but many folks are averse to such intervention.
