Richard is crazy!!!

I get an email this morning that part 2 is on the way and it said "You are going to be a busy guy this afternoon".....I think it was followed by an evil laugh.

I picked up part 2, got it home and HOLY CRAP!!! You have got to be kidding me!! Richard sent so many extras I am having trouble getting them into the tank!!!!

The rock is KILLER, and I mean KILLER. The colors and life of these rocks is amazing, crabs and snails were dropping off of them as I lifted them out of the boxes. The colors were amazing. Everyone else in the business should be sued for calling their live rock "live".

Along with the rocks came bags of sponges and gorgonias. I got a big orange star fish, a couple of urchins, what looks like an arrow crab and some sort of fish!! He is colorful but TINY so we will see if he lasts.

I am acclimating the critters right now and taking a break before trying to figure out how to get the rest of the stuff in!!

Here are some pics. The water is cloudy and my pics dont come close to doing the rock justice.

Note - The clownfish, yellow belly damsel and bi-color pseudochromis were moved into the tank last week from my 29 gallon as I had to tear it down. The mushroom rock was also moved from the 29.

Everything is doing great, even the cucumbers have stretched out, one crawling up the glass and another crawling over the rock. The only thing I am worried about is the serpent star, it has not moved since putting it into the tank. However, they can take a bit to acclimate so I will worry in a few days if it has not moved.

Richard - What kind of fish was that you sent? It is alive and well and hiding in a small crack between a rock and the sand bed. It looks like some sort of goby?

Ive got 15 gallons of water mixed and ready to change if/when the ammonia begins to rise.

Great job dwculp, like the way your tank turned out. How much rock did you end up getting from Richard, by the way Richard, you out did yourself again, that is some gorgious rock and extras you sent there.

Here is a full tank shot:

I updated my main thread in the reef section today. Air conditioning went out today and with highs of 105F and above it was not fun :)
