Ricordea Florida help!!

Just added 3 Ricordea Florida to my tank last night. Placed in lower light low flow and all looked great BUT......

I just noticed that one of them is releasing a black skinny slime from its mouth. I know it's not good, but not sure what to do.

It's only been 24 hours in the tank. I did not feed it yet. My first inclination is to surround it with a Chinese food container that was cut out of the bottom, to basically give it zero flow. Lighting is 1 Kessil 360WE that is on the lowest intensity with only the blues on. Water parameters are fine.

Is it releasing its zooanthellae ??

Need help!! Any and all recommendations would be appreciated!!

That's not really abnormal, they tend to do that when they're stressed especially after they're newly shipped. Your best bet is to leave it right where it is without messing with it, and probably a bad idea overall to put a Chinese food container into your tank.

The Floridas were purchased at a local frag swap from a reputable vendor. I used a Chinese food container with a hole that I cut in the bottom to help reduce water flow temporarily until they get accustomed to their new home. The Chinese food containers were brand new and never used. Plus...it has helped from my skunk shrimp annoying them. Sofar they appear to be doing fine.
