Ricordea yuma

i was just informed my mystery shroom is a Ricordea yuma. i was wondering how big they got and if they can or should be direct fed or not. just any info really

they can get a decent size. i would direct feed it, it certainly wouldnt hurt.

Yuma are gonna vary in size but most stay between an inch and a half to two inch diameters

Ricordeas and Yumas are 2 different species. Often confused for one another, Rics come from the Caribbean and are much smaller. As mentioned about the size of a 50cent piece, some larger. Yumas come from the Indo ocean areas and get much larger. I have one in my tank over 4"s across. Also Yumas have raised tentacles around the mouth area.

One of my yumas is 5" across, I don't direct feed it much but I do make sure it gets some mysis. Right now my tomato clown wants it to host her, but it's not agreeing. My ricordia florida are only about 2" across. Colors are totally different too.
