Ricordea

Yeah I always have some bridal veil lying around ;)
I tried super gluing a loose polyp to a rock and it didn't hold, low flow is key huh? I love the picture of the ricordea propagating tank in the new issue of Coral, a shallow tank brightly lit with hundreds of rics on rubble on the bottom.

I like to keep it in a small dish of rubble med to large sand and let them attach to that. THen glue the rubble they attached to to the rock. I usually use a small tuperware container that is half full with rubble. That way the current blows over the top of the container.

I tried that and it still wouldn't attatch, kept falling off between the rubble cracks and tried to attach to the tupperware.

I have it wedged between a couple small rocks we'll see if that works, the 10 is barebottom so maybe it'll just attach to the acrylic, we'll see.

First thing I did was a bunch of small rocks in a clam pedestal, then superglue, then I just tied it down to a plug with Dental floss. All seemed to fail pretty much. The Dental floss one has not failed 100% yet thou, I took it off and it is still on the plug, but it seems to get a little more loose everyday. Guess we will see.

Hardest thing to get to attach to something for me so far.
