Ricordia Edge Rotting?

Yesterday I just noticed my large and flourishing ricordia colony wasnt open all the way. It was relatively shribbled (not totally, but just not like usual).

Last night I noticed this brownish stuff around the edges of one polyp. I took the turkey baster and blew it off. It was like the outer edge of that polyp was rotting off.

Does anyone know what this is?? TIA.

Sounds like brown jelly infection, Ricordia tend to be able to take alot of abuse, so it sounds very unusual. Any chance of posting a pic and listing your tank specs and water params.

Have you added any livestock recently?
