Ricordia Group Buy

That's a great deal. I'm going to give him a call and order 2 more rocks for me.

I'll be glad to trade clusters of ric frags with everyone.

you know dan thats a good idea, what if we order a rock each then frag ours and trade straight across? might be an easy way to do it? what do you think?
Chris

That's exactly what I was thinking, Chris. What's the word from Scott? I haven't telked to him since 11:00, and he didn't know if he could get full rocks at that time.

he ordered 6 med size rocks. I figure whoever buys a rock and wants to share frags post it here. They will be in on Friday. If some dont look good you dont have to buy them. His supplier says he doesnt have a ton if rics right now but I told scott to let him know we want some bright ones and when he gets them let scott know and he can bring more in on a later order.

I resisted the temptation and got just one colony and an SPS frag--a great light purple acro with green polyps. Very cool. Each ric is a very light gray with pinkish-streaks and a green mouth. It looks a lot more gray than light pink in my tank tonight, but we'll see in the morning. It's so well camouflaged that you could look right at it and not know are rics on it.

I can get 2 frags from it without ruining the appearance of the colony. Eric D, I don't know if you'd want one in your tank since the color is so faded.

There were a couple other colonies that looked like they'd be amazing in the right setting--streaked oranges and light purples, one colony even had encrusting SPS (looked like tan digitata) and an oyster (live?). "Mister600" got those. ;)

I'd say most of the rics in each of the colonies could be called tri-color, even though the colors aren't too intense at the moment. Who knows what they'll look like in a couple months?

Check out Fishy Business, they just got 5 rocks covered, colors look mixed to me but will change under your lights anyway. :)

Okay, looks like if everyone wants Florida's too, here's the best deal...

Item # 250060404016

You will get a variety of colors as listed below. 10-15 Greens,Neons,Mettalics, etc , 8-12 Rainbows , 7-10 Blues , 7-10 Oranges and 4-6 Yuma's ! These will be mostly aquacultured polyps about 3/4"-1"+ and all will be attached to atleast small rubble or rocks. Mostly single polyps, with a few that might be 2-3 on a rock together.

Hopefully we can request no Yuma's unless someone else would like some...

LMK if you want in on this...
I'm looking for 2 Blues 2 Neon Green and 2 Rainbows... So I'm down to 6 as I'm running out of room. He will offer free shipping with a $300.00 purchase so I think that would be about 35 rics... Please post what you would like for colors so we can see if we can request colors. We should have plenty of time, as we don't want to ship until after the holidays to ensure overnight delivery.

That is on Ebay.

What are we looking at for cost per, approximately? I'd take a couple of rainbows and maybe a neon or two, depends on cost.

300/35 w/ free shipping would be about 8.60 per polyp...

Maybe we could get Scott or Keith to do the 50 for 400 which is 8 a polyp, I'd pay 12 a polyp to not have the headache and be able to see them in a tank when picking them out.

I spoke too soon about the yumas at Fishy Business. I saw them yesterday--OMG. They actually have a lot of color! At a minimum the yumas in each colony are 2-color. I reserved one wine red/purple colony so my kids can buy it for me for Christmas.
