I also have spoken to Keith about doing the ebay purchase for us, then we can pick what we like... I'm sure there will be a little mark up, but I'll gladly pay it to get to pick the polyps I want... Anyone else able to commit to purchasing some? He doesn't need to get stuck with 50 polyps in his tanks.

None for me. Between the pink/gray colony from Exotic and the purple/lavender one from Fishy Business, my tank is now full.

I now have two pink/gray ric florida frags and a couple dozen zoo frags of various color combinations to trade if anyone has something to trade.

I think those are going to turn out wonderful. They will change colors. The green in them looks promising. I have seen dull plain crap looking rics turn out to be bright neon orange, its amazing. give it some time I bet they'll come around it looks nice so far to me anyway.

I wonder how shallow they are? I've heard that you can often see them in tide pools or even exposed to the air between rocks when the tide is out.

yeah if I see them in the 3'-10' shallows it may change my mind as to how deep I put them into my tank

Depth at those levels depends on the tides. When you see them, see if you can determine the state of the tide.

I have one 4" off the bottom and the one on the bottom just had a baby.

it seems people with flourescent lights have mush better luck with rics than the MH guys. I guess that means putting them near the bottom is a good idea.

I have yuma and florida rics. I'm using 14000K MH and they're thriving everywhere from near the top to the bottom.
