So this is what I was referring to and my ric is still doing it even though I moved her to another more well lit spot.....!

Anyone have an idea....?

It is not behaving badly. Ricordea florida is quite resilient, and can do well in a medium light environment, but will be even happier under bright light. I keep mine under 150 Watts 15K MH, a few inches from the water surface. I think yours will be fine; just give it some time to adjust to the new conditions - and don’t panic. Good luck!

Cool.....I am running 250W 20K MH....is that too bright for them if they are say....3-4 inches from the waters surface in slow moving flow...?

250W, 20K MH, 3-4 inches from the waters surface may be a little to intense...for any Corallimorpharian. I wouldn’t put it that high. This could be the reason(s) why it wants to shrink: light to intense and the specimen to close to the waters surface. Usually, depending on the type of coral, it may take several days, or even weeks, to adapt to its new environment. Ricordea florida is fairly hardy, so be patient. Best of luck.

Okay....I didn't notice this type of behavior before and it was sitting at the bottom of the tank....a 135....and it was in an area that was getting dappled light....! So now I'm a bit confused as to where the heck to move it.....?

I have my lights about 14 inches above the tank - and they are not as intense as yours - and I keep my ricordea florida about 8-10 inches from the waters surface.
