Riiiiiicoooordea!!!

My ricordea seems to have a blemish not too far from one of it's mouth (it has two mouths), any idea of what it could be/what caused it? (You can click on these photos for a bigger view)

Also, I found this on the rock it's on.

It's normally covered up by the ricordea, but I guess the current got up under it and lifted the edges of the ricordea. Any idea of what it is?

That's what I initially thought, but then I remembered hearing that they reproduce by splitting. Are there different methods of reproducing?

That is a baby. My huge ricordia has 2 babies that looked just like that and the babies are now definately bigger and look just like the original
