Dilemma #1: Overflow
Unsure if I should use both holes in my overflow box for overflow, or have the 1'' overflow, and 3/4'' return.

Dilemma #2 :Fuge or Biopellets
Im somewhat favoring biopellets right now, so that Im sure to not have to change in the future if a bioload is more than what a small fuge can offer me.

Dilemma #3: Sump
If I do go biopellets, the 20g high would provide me more space under the tank. Skimmer needs 10'' water.
20g Long, 30''Long x 12''Wide x 12'' High Sump
or
20g High, 24''Long x 12''Wide x 16'' High Sump

Dilemma #4: Dosing
2 part or kalk.

Brain hurts, tell me what you guys think.

I would say use both holes in the overflow for drains, herbie style if possible. I like the fuge, but I've never used biopellets, if your skimmer needs 10" then go with the 20 High because just having 2" of space over the water level would scare me if I were actually worried about flooding, and I can't give advice on the 2 part or kalk yet because water changes is still keeping my levels great. Have you ran the skimmer before, because my SCA-302 was supposed to need up to 10" but runs way better at around 7" of water.

Hey,
Yes Ive been using the sc150 for almost a year now on my 40br/40br setup, it runs well @ 10''.
Because the sump will be baffled, the extra space will be in the return pump section (for the overflow box to drain out), so I could run the water as high as needed.
Im waiting for a response from the guy Im buying the tank from to see if the back can be drilled, if so I can add another 3/4'' lockline elsewhere and use both pre-drilled holes as overflow.
