I swear every since i switched a to a rimless tank, i keep having more and more fish jumping out of the tank even with screens. So far its been a blue hooded wrasse, a purple tang (6inch and yes i said a purple tang) and a male flame wrasse. Anyone know what the correlation is or encountered this?

maybe they can just see what's coming at them better and over react, and, likewise, don't see a rim to limit thier upward motions....just a guess. I'd put a top on it. Those window screen frames with 1/4" plastic mess can look very neat and not detract from the open top look.
