I don't think I could ever spend $1600 on a 20g nano tank though.

Yes. 1/2" is fine.

Fan is for summer only,...im in LA man its hot here. But yes the fan goes away and either a Sfiligoi or a Planet will go in there too.

Well, i will probably go with a Sfiligoi because i want to run a 400watt SE (Radium) with 4xt5s. Is there any giesemann that does that ? Seems to me the Sfiligoi is the only one.
