I don't have a build thread yet but I will soon. I'm half way through ti and am to busy to work on it right now but when I do I'll start the thread.

As for plans the right tank is going to be a sps tank with a couple othe things thrown in and the right is a going to be a mangrove lagoon with a peacock mantis and maybe some other algea. both are tied together with the same sump
 
Well, I just got word from Miracles Aqauriums that my tank is done!
They will be sending me over some pics today and cleaning it up tomorrow. I will be heading out to Toronto Thursday night and picking up the tank on Friday. \

Rimless and shallow club here I come!

I cant wait! :D

After a long weekend I'm finally in the club. Please excuse my mess it's not totally set up but getting it ready before I go on Vacation.

Great to hear, you wont be disappointed. This will be my 2nd Miracles tank, and if its anything like the first one it will be great!

Well if the build quality is anything like their customer service than I will be happy.

I just talked with Derek and my tank was just built.36x36x22 starphire rimless. Now it has to cure for 10 days and it gets shipped to me. :D
 
Speaking of Miracles, I'm currently planning a tank with Derek (and Paul from OM) on a 4'x4'x2' rimless starphire that will be viewable from 4 sides. Since it'll have a center overflow, there are challenges for flow, but I'm centering this tank in the middle of a great room.
Love hearing about all the above tanks, keep the pictures coming too!
 
man sweet tanks, i gotta ask, i asked the guys in the shallow tank club too but... any ideas for how to make a lamp tree? Leemar makes one using like a 1/4" aluminum rod but they want like 100 bucks for it... kinda pricey. i've seen guys using conduit piping. can anyone who has something like this post ideas? thanks guys
