I cant wait to join this club! Im hoping to get a 36"x24"x24" SPS tank within the next few months.

just a word of advice, if you have the room in your home I would go with a 48x24x18 (90g)...or something along those lines! having the extra room with a larger footprint is huge and I wish I would have thought about that before getting my tank. Im happy with it but its a pretty tight squeeze when it comes to equipment in the stand. next tank for me will be something like that with a 40gb under it for a sump!

Tigerarmy.....Im kinda worried about sump/equipment space but was really hoping to get away with a single 400W Radium on a HQI ballast. Not sure if that would even work on a 36x24x24 tank but I havent really gotten that far in my plan. The main reason I want the dimentions like that is because I just love the look of deep tanks. Thanks for the tip though. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I just picked up that same green piece taht you have on the left hand side in pic number one, did you get a id or name for it?

Im also a huge fan of that humilis that you have on the right side...is it for sale? :)

Scorcho, what are your dimensions? I have been thinking about something like a 36X27X16, and wondering if I can get by with one 250W halide if I use a good reflector, such as lumenbright, or if I either need to think about a more square tank, or more lights. Thanks.

Mine is 48x24x24, i had a 36" tank before and used a fixture with a single 250w and it looked fine and it would have looked great with a single lumenbrite I'm sure.

It's not new, I bought it used it was GEO's personal tank in pataskala. It's not rimless either, it's eurobraced. ATB skimmer should be here soon, just paid Victor today :)
