After about 8 months of planning and building my 120 rimless is up and running. It has been going for about 2 weeks now.

Beautiful home and tank Summer! That's one room I'd hate to spill water! Consider looking for a white electrical covering for the fixture cords, and voila, perfection!

Thanks for the compliment!

As far as the floor and water, it's not a big deal, as I had oak planking with the previous house/tank, and it looked good even after 7yrs. I'm pretty anal about cleaning-up any small spills, and just put down plastic runners when working on the tank.

I hear ya about the cover on the Spectra's wires. I went with the silver casing to go with the silver light fixture, but it's not getting lost with all the white background. It actually looks better in person than in the pics though.

Not sure if I'll switch it out to white casing, because then the point where the 3 wires come out of the fixture will be tough to hide, and I'm afraid your eye will go to that spot.
I can always give it a try and see what looks better.

summer6, there are some interesting wire hiders on this site.
http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/raceways.php

Thanks for the link.
Took a look at them, but I'm afraid it's too "stiff" for my application. The 3 wires would need to go straight up,and then attached to my wall before going into the vent. I need a certain amount of slack when lowering/raising the lights for tank maintenance.

Rimless rules I hope to join the club some day. I'm close my 215 has no bracing just trim but it looks so much nicer with nothing up on top.More pics please :D

I came so close to joining the club! My tank was built incorrectly with Eurobrace! I now have to wait a few more weeks after already waiting for ten.:(

That is absolutely stunning ! Great location for a tank. :)

I'm just waiting for confirmation on my order for an Elos 120.

I wanted the XL but unfortunately there's no way I'd get it in the apartment.

That's a bummer.:(
It will be worth the wait to get what you want. What are the dimensions, and overflow(s) of the expected tank?

Man ya got some nice *** tanks here. I just ordered an aga 72 bowfront and stand and now I'm consitering a rimless tank. Do u guys build these thank or buy them? If u buy them then where at? And how much do they usually run for?
