Rimless Aquarium Club

Hey, I have a 75 gallon rimless Deep Blue that just shattered on me while drilling. It was not supposed to be tempered on the back side but it surely was (pictures in the new to this hobby section).

Any way, I think I will be forced to order a new tank so I want to get a better brand this time. What company would you recommend for a rimless 75 gallon? Starphire on 3 sides and of course NOT tempered on the back side.

Ever thought about replacing the back pane?

Another pic of my 100 gallon rimless tank. It's a lee mar.

I'm about to join the club! Just ordered a Coast to Coast custom rimless, 40 x 24 x 19 starfire front and sides. It's going to be a long 8 weeks.

ooh! Coast to coast... snazzy! Let us know if you think the craftsmanship is worth the double price tag they charge over every other custom tank builder.

Definitely will. Although I have nothing to compare it to. They were running a special which made the price a bit better. Also, they have been great to work with... very patient with me. I requested quotes from other builders and no one would return my emails or calls. It's been over a month and CTC is the only one that contacted me, which they did in a matter of hours.

I would just replace the broken pane.

Awesome tanks on here...

I'm looking into buying a new shallow rimless myself, hoping to get some advice. I'm thinking dimensions would be either 36X24X12 or 48X36X14. Starphire glass.

Any suggestions on a good company to use to build this tank? Been browsing around online but can't decide on anything. Would like to get some opinions. Thanks!

Great tank! Do you have a build thread? I would like to follow. I am considering a similar size.

Been almost a year since I updated my post. Bought and sold a lot of corals. This is what it looks like as of last night. You'll have to excuse the crappy cell phone image :lol2:
