Rimless Cube Tank Build **Picture heavy**

Very nice looking cube. I've got a similar build going, having a blast putting together my cube. Love your rockwork :)

What's this detox blox all about? Never heard of this before...

They were new to me also but I got them in a trade. It doesn't seem very common but conceptual it makes a lot of sense to me. The person I got them from had an established 400+ gallon tank with a mixed reef tank with very minimal rock work. He had stacks of this in his sump though.

Thanks! I was really concerned with it at first because of the LED/shadowing issue but it has been working out. Do you have any pictures of your set up? I'd love to check it out.

Very clean setup, can you post some more pics of the stand? I'm gathering ideas for when i build mine

Unfortunately other than the ones posted I don't have any more during the build process. I'll can take more but with the tank on and it being nestled next to the sofa it may be hard to get pictures the back. Let me know if you want something specific and I can try to accommodate. Appreciate the praise.

Tunze 3155

Tunze 3155

Bought a used Tunze 3155 ATO and reservoir. This was probably my favorite purchase so far.

I have it plugged into my Apex JR so I can turn it on and off easily when I do my water changes. Wires and tubing all tucked along the top of my stand for a seamless look!

Dosing Unit

Dosing Unit

I haven't updated this in a while because life got in the way. Got a dosing unit (Apex Dos) and hooked it up to my Apex system. Since I didn't have much room in my stand I built something to house it. I used the leftover wood and stain/supplies from my stand build.

Still haven't actually started dosing yet though - kind of delaying it because I'm being overly cautious. Anybody with an Apex Dos want to give me a quick tutorial on tips and tricks?

Changed out my clowns to the ORA blood orange clowns. They hosted to a BTA that I bought from a fellow reefer (that split into two in my tank).

The other tank residents are a tail spot blenny, coral beauty, cleaner shrimp and anemone crab (not shown).

Full Tank Shot - I'm considering another Kessil, I have quite a bit of shadowing.

Side View - you can see the split anemone.
