My best friend and I decide to be spontaneous and go backpacking through South-East Asia for a total of 3 months. Departure date is in exactly 19 days! I have decided to try and sell my reef tanks only because the house in which the tanks are located is under foreclosure and most certainly will be taken away while I'm gone on vacation. There are several parts to this puzzle and will try and be as clear as possible when listing the items for sale; as you are allowd to mix and match between 2 different tank setups, plus the live stock. have fun on the trip, that's a once in a lifetime adventure. Last year I spent 4 months in Peru & Columbia and another 4 months in Brazil. It was unbelievable and I'm already saving and planning for another big adventure. Take lots of pictures (be careful with your camera, my buddy spent 2 months in Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, etc and his camera was stolen the day before he left) and show them to us when your done.

Thanks for the heads up! My buddy just finished buying a new Canon exclusively for the trip. I'll make sure to keep a close eye on it! I have all those neighboring countries that your buddy visited on the agenda. The last week or so will be spent in Japan . Some of my friends and I already started a group savings account....2014 World Cup in Brazil here we come!!

I'll definitely be back in Brazil for the World Cup and the Olympics. My buddy had a liitle camera that was taken right out of his back pocket. Anyway, in the picture of the tank that you had up and running, it looks like you had some Armageddon's, am I correct? Do you still have any? I have been trying to find some for awhile now. About 4 years ago I bought a few polyps from a guy in Wellington and they grew unbelievably fast for me. I would feed them whole mysis, and they would gobble it up. Then one day the colony started getting smaller and smaller until there were none left. I talked to some people that I gave a couple frags to and a few other people that had some and everyone one of us had the same problem; they grew like crazy and then just as quickly as they grew, they disappeared. If you have any left, I would love to buy a few from you.

That rimless tank and stand are very nice. The stand is very, very nice. I'm currently building a stand know all the work that must have gone into that stand. I hope my stand comes out half as nice as that, but I know it won't, I making a fairly simple/boring stand. I hope you sell it soon, because whoever buys it, between the top-notch livestock and beautiful, high-end tank, stand, and equipment will be getting an incredible setup.

Wow, pretty impressive eye you got there! Yeah, those are Armageddon's. They are extremely similar to the AOG's that are right next to it. I understand how much it sucks to loose a colony that was growing so well and rapidly. I had the same thing happen to my Darth Mauls! I started with a little two polyp frag that quickly grew to over 20. Now I'm down to just 4 : ( From my experiences, I believe the cause is due to ALK swings. I also believe that the remaining 4 polyps of my Darth Mauls are now 2, 3 maybe even 4 time stronger and more adaptive to the captive aquarium envoironment then my original 2 polyps. Anyways, thanks for the kind words. Even if your system is not as fancy, I'm sure it'll turn out to be a beautiful reef! I'll definitely keep you in mind regarding the Armegeddons!
