rimless tanks

I have a 16 gallon bow front tank currently, I have been seeing some rimless tanks and I love the way they look but I notice that they do not have filters or skimmers hanging on them. Do most come with overflows? What are the pros and cons of a rimless tank? Thanks for any insight you can give me.

I can't really see any downside to a rimless tank, I love mine. Probably because most people drill them and have a sump to put their skimmer and ato in. IMO rimless looks way better.
