I bought one brand new, used it to make water a couple of times making sure I cleaned it after each use and put it away in the original box. When i got it back out to use I found the impeller magnet had swelled up so I had to pry it out of the motor. Its now swelled and distorted out of shape and the will not take it back since I don't have the original receipt.
Another thing I found was it did not want to restart once it was shut off, seems like even new it was really tight on the shaft and since the shaft and magnet have ceramic surfaces you can't do anything about the clearances. It was quiet though!
