Taam says not to use them on a wavemaker. This is probably because the SEIO locks up more often on restart than a Microsoft operating system. Taam will be releasing a wavemaker/controller for the SEIO sometime soon.

Agree on that, they also seem to break shafts if you do put them on a wavermaker. Seems like they are taking their time getting this controller out....
I also agree with the frequent (or constant) lockups on the 1100. Once it's running, it's great though. I've only had it restart correctly once since the 4-mths I've had it. You need to tap it a few times to start the motor again.
Can't wait for SEIO's new controller to be available.
I have 3 620's on a wavemaker (6 months on the Red Sea one, the past 12 months on the wavemaker part of my ReefKeeper I ) I have never once had a restart issue, nor any broken shafts. I do clean them every 3-4 months.
