Rip Rasta :( questions

Hello gang, I have a 40B so rock space is limited. I got this awesome green slimer acro but wanted to get it in a good spot in a tank so I put it next to the Rastas....

Is there something I did wrong? Would the acro give off anything that would kill zoas?

They looked healthy and good until this then right down hill.

I have a green slimer right in the middle of a colony of GBP zoanthids, and even though growth is slow, it seems to mowing them down.

Im at work.. no pics..

Idk maybe some other things that I had happen to my tank recently and it just took a turn for the worse... its a shame because everything else is doing amazing... my greenbay packers who are near by (about 2" away) are thriving..

Some zoas just melt. No rhyme or reason. Friend of mine is a coral farmer and he would have let's say 20 frags of the same polyps (in the same tank right next to each other same flow everything) and sometimes 1 or 2 would melt for no reason while all the others thrive.

What a shame.. Rastas are some of my favorite and they are certainly gone now.

Guess it's time to buy some more :(

I have rastas that grew up to the base of a large Upscales Microclados - they touch. Neither killed the other or gave ground - stalemate, which is good. I doubt that either killed the other.

Before you go buying more, try to figure out what went wrong. Check your parameters. Yes sometimes things melt randomly, but don't assume that's what happened. You don't want to buy another batch and have them melt on you again.
