Who would have thunk he would have died by a RAY?

i couldn't believe it after I read the news, very sad day for the Animal world and the discovery channel.

yeah I read about this during the mornign and spent a bunch of time looking stuff up about the local and the manta rays in the area, etc. I always figured he was going to get hurt bad but not by a manta ray -figured it would be a snake that was just too quick for him or a fluke error while wrestling a crocodile.

Regardless - everyone here is sad about the event!

Definately a freak accident. It was a huge ray that was buried in the sand. From what I read he didnt even know it was there or see it coming. At least he went while with nature instead of a plane/car accident.
