I was hoping that anyone here with ritteri could give me a list of thier system specs, (ive been taking care of 2 for sometime).

lights, water movement/gph/return nozzle type, ect.
Thanks.

I have one that is around 12" across now, was around 4 inches when I got him. Thanks size and equipment is below on my hobby exp line. Mine has settled where to Closed Loop heads converge about 16" from the surface wedged in a crack.
Water params are:
PH 8.1 to 8.3
Temp 78
Calc 420
A, trite and trate 0
Alk 12.3 dKh
Phos - 0

Water turn over is 8x via overflow via sump and return pump
Closed loop via 3000 GPH Sequnce pump
so total is aorund 18X turn over

Lighting is 3x 150W MH, 4x 96 Duals
Light cycle is Duals 12 hrs, MH 8hr

Feeding - Mysis twice a week, silversides 3 times a week

Good luck

Got on in a 58g with a 400w xm 20k. It is right below the return stream(mag 7) and gets intermitent blasts from a maxijet 900 with a hydro spinny thing on it. Has two percs in there as well, but generally seems to like the med to low flow area. Ive had it for about 2 years originally under a 250w xm 10k, then switched to a hamilton 14k and it started walking again and now is happy under the 400w.

Tank has about 80+ lbs of live rock in it, with another 40-50lbs in the fuge along with some cheato and a large skimmer.

pH is 8.0-8.2
nitrates are 15-40(been high lately and comming down)
calc-300-450
alk 3-4 mg/l

I pretty much dont feed it directly at all anymore either, and it hasnt moved in a year now and all is very well.

110g cube (30x30x30, no smaller tank would hold my ritteri, at full expansion, stretched out, it can get to 24" diameter). Flow is 2x6100 tunzes on multicontroller, return pump is a ... um.. Rio SVT 30HF something-or-other (sorry forget the exact model#) piped through 6 outputs and loc-line flared nozzles, lighting is a single 250W DE 14k Ushio.

I feed mine mysis every couple of days.

Had him since 2001. :)

Awesome info gals/guys! keep it coming, chances are unless i find a very small one (highly unlikley) ill be replenishing the tank as a mixed reef. the move took its toal on all my sps colonies save my validia and danae (exposed to a fairly severe cold).
