rms arm leans forward

Has anyone figured out a way to fix the leaning forward problem of the rms? I have two mounted on xr30's and it looks bad the way it leans forward.

Try loosening the adjustable screw, then slide the spacer half way down, then tighten the adjustable screw. The figure should be straight or at least lean less.

I don't use the spacer my tank is rimless. I have tried everything even shims. I can't figure out why these would be designed to lean forward. My opinion is that it looks horrible. If I can't get a solution I'm trashing these and hanging my lights.

Maybe the RMS arm has a slight downward tilt to keep the light from blinding observers of the tank???

Like Poolboy mentioned, the RMS is not designed to sit completely level with the rim of your aquarium. You will see a slight lean downward and this is an intentional design feature.

Myt tank is rimless too but the space helped level the RMS
