ro/di break in period

I'm setting up my typhoon III unit today. How long do I need to run it through the RO only before I can start making RO/DI water for the tank? Is the DI part ready right away or should I discard the water through there for a while as well?

I'm not an expert, but since no one else has jumped in I'll tell what I did, and what my directions said.
-I bypassed the DI for about for about 5-10 minutes and then ran about 5 gals. through. After 5 gals. my readings went from about 22 to 0.

thanks, about to start up the water flow right now. it was a lot easier to setup than I expected, hopefully I didn't do anything wrong!

I just set mine up yesturday and I was little surprised (and glad)how easy it was. One less thing to worry about. I hope to have water and rock in the tank next week
