RO/DI Filter Question

I need to take a poll. In my ro/di filter, there are 3 pre-filters. Mine has 2 sediment filters (5 micron and 1 micron) and 1 carbon filter. I see a lot on ebay that have 1 sediment and 2 carbon filters. What do you all have? Do you know if one is more beneficial than another? I need to buy some more filters.

I have a Spectrapure unit-- 1 sediment, 1 carbon filter.

Probably depends on your source water what you should use...

I have the Water General RD-106. It has 1 sediment and 2 carbon filters. FWIW, I changed the RO membrane from a 100gpd to a 75gpd and added 2 large canisters of DI resin.

If you have high sedimetn loads, you might want two sediment filters. If you have chloramines, you would want two carbon stages.

In "normal" situations, 1 sediment filter and 1 carbon block is all you'll need.

Thanks for the input, guys. My town does use chloramine, so I think I should really have 2 carbon blocks instead of one.
