RO/DI Help: SpectraPure or BRS?

Hi guys, I'm trying to decide whether I should go with the BRS 4 stage plus or the SpectraPure linked below:

Both similar price, but being in Tampa, I have become worried about chloramines.

It seems that they are guaranteed to be high in FL.

I would have bought the SpectraPure days ago if it weren't for the outrageous shipping cost ($40). Does anyone know if the chloramines are high enough in Tampa to justify the shipping cost of the SpectraPure?

Also, does anyone know if there will be a huge disparity between the two in replacement media cost in the long run?

Thanks!

I've been using the same spectrapure for about 10-12 years. It's good. I added a BRS dual DI chamber so that I could convert it froma 4 stage to a 6 stage. I like the metal bracket on the BRS better than the plastic bracket on the spectrapure.

My advice is to go with a least a 5 stage since municipalities in this area use chloramine. I like the 6 stage because if one DI exhausts, the next one keeps your TDS at 0. I also prefer 75gpd since slower membranes remove more. I can't remember where I read that.
