Ro/DI mix water

So, water comes out of my RO system at 19 ppm on the TDS. I`ve heard it should come at around 2~3 ppm from RO and zero from RO/DI. I need to buy more DI resin as my resin is old so I disconnected the last step from this system (also use this for my freshwater).
Is there anything I should do to get it better?
And yes, I have chloramine in my tap (like 2 ppm ammonia in test kit). I`m currently using a 5 (3 now) step system (1 micron mechanical, 1 micron carbon rated for chloramine, 100 gpd membrane). I got this unit used, but new membrane, carbon block and mechanical block. All from BRS.
Before RO membrane, the water is yellow, 350 on tds. After membrane, its clear and 19 on tds.
Yes, I know I need to order resin, what should I buy?
And I`m just starting a tank. So it need to cycle. Is this ro water ok to mix saltwater and cycle the tank?:uzi:

What is your water pressure?
Your rejection rate of the RO membrane is like 94.5%.. (350 in..19 out) You should really get a new membrane too and one with a 98+% rejection rate if possible
Then your TDS post membrane would be under 10 and will drastically improve the lifespan of your new DI resin..

And no I would not use that ro system until your are achieving 0 TDS water with it..

With chloromine you should get cholorguard filter as well carbon when i did that my di resin lasted longer. I would suspect your membrane is shot.

I have mine as sediment, carbon, cholorguard than di..

You should also flush membrane once in awhile

I don`t know the pressure, but it should be high, not super high, it`s Fort Lauderdale, FL. Sorry, I have no numbers. No pressure pump in the system.
As said above, all media and membrane are brand new. I mean I`m using them now, but did not use much and it`s been like that since I got it going.

You have another stage for the Cholorguard filter?

I have 5 stage system and should if your water has chloromine added

First Sediment
Second Carbon Block
Third Cholorguard block
Fourth Membrane

At this stage you should have 4tds coming out anymore than something is wrong.

last stage is DI and should be 0 after this.. The higer TDS coming in this stage the faster the resin will deplete.

I get this with the Colorguard Block.. When I changed to this my DI lasted a ton longer.

I would install a pressure gauge there easy to install plus a flush valve if you dont have one:

This is the kit I would recommend

The pressure that should go into RO/DI unit should be at 60psi..
waste/water ratio should be about 4:1 that is important

Here is a good troubleshooting link

You can add another chamber after sediment filter and before carbon block filled with catalytic carbon which will highly reduce chloramines. Will need to change that carbon every 5000 gal going through it.

Got from BRS:
0.5 MICRON MATRIKX PB1 CARBON BLOCK
And DI resin (Pro series 8.4 lb anion and 1.5 lb cation)
I hope this is enough to get some zero tds. I will run it now.

Cleaned the ro housing, used silicon grease to make sure it was 100% sealed. Cleaned, added the matrix block... still 19 to 15 on tds. Zero after DI, but yes, I will waste a ton of resin that way. Will get a pressure gauge and a new membrane in the future. So I leave this membrane to filter the drain and only use that for my planted tanks. Im ****ed bc it`s pretty much a new membrane. If it filtered 500 gallons it was it at most, for drinking and for my planted tank.
