I recently bought an RO/DI unit that I want to connect to the fridge ice and water line.
The current ice/water line is connected to 1/4" copper tubing and another saddle valve.
I have purchased a a saddle valve "repair kit" to seal the hole left by the fridge saddle valve.
My question is can the 1/4 copper tubing be connected to the 1/4 "plastic" tubing we use for the RO/DI systems?
What do I need to connect these two?

Go to lowes. They have all the fittings you will need.

If you are looking to connect the tubing end to end then you will need to get a compression coupling they are in the plumbing section with the water system stuff.
