before the Membrane.
this will let you know if water pressure is dropping after the prefilters/carbon
that way you know when to replace your filters.
plus, it lets you know if you have enough water pressure going to the membrane for proper TDS
just put a tee on the line going from the carbon to membrane. and mount the base of the pressure gauge above the DI next to the membrane.
