RO/DI question.

I just purchased a 75 gpd RO/DI filter from reef smart. When it is running the DI filter is not fully submerged, water is still coming out it's just that the last canister is not full, only a fifth of the way. Second does having the correct temp of incoming water only effect the gpd output or is it to prevent damage to filters.

I think its to prevent filter damage....

So too cold of water would damage the filter, for instance tap water in winter would be a no go.

Too hot will kill membrane.
Colder water will just generate more waste water.

Ok that settle that portion, any idea on why one canister is not filling up with water?

The DI which is the last one never fills up completly. I do not know why, but this is working properly.
