Hi,

I am looking to purchase this RO/ DI system.....http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/showproducts.asp?Category=168&Sub=166

It will be hooked up to a sink in my office showroom, and will be used for my 135g reef. Although the sink is not going to be close to the tank, I am still going to hook it up because ti is the only running sink int he showroom.

I am just wondeirng what all i need to hook up this system to a regular kitchen sink?

I would also like to be able to run a line to the tnak just to fill it up initially..but will remove it whent hat is done.

Thanks,

CJ

You will need a faucet adapter like this. http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=RO1317

I couldnt find it on Buckeyes website but Im sure they sell the same thing. You will probably also need more RO tubing which can also be ordered so you can initially fill the tank. How far is the tank from the sink?

Make sure you get the 75 GPD unit on that page. It has a better RO membrane than the 100 GPD unit.

Thanks. Is that adapter removable?

Where would I put the RO/ DI unit.....above or below the sink?

I am not sure how far away the unit will be.....the showroom is just now being built.

Yes, the adapter takes only a few seconds to remove. It doesnt matter where you place the unit, its up to you. As long as the run is within say 100 feet, you will be ok.

Great...thanks.

This will be my first Ro/ DI unit, so everything is pretty new to me about how to set it up and such. Where will the waste water go?

you can get a drain saddle valve to connect to the sink drain. buckeyefieldsupply.com has those under accessories.

Thanks Jordan. Since I have never owned an RO/ DI unit, I just picked the BFS unit since I have only heard good reviews about it.
