RO/DI system

Hi Albert,

Thanks for your inquiry. The differences between the two units are fairly marginal. The quality of the product water that you will get from each unit will be similar.

The reasons for the SpectraPure being more expensive is that every SpectraPure TFC membrane is manually tested for quality and output capacity. It does not make a large difference but does add a bit of security and reassurance. Another difference is that the SpectraPure units comes with a 0.5 micron sediment filter and a 0.5 micron carbon block filter. The Kent Marine includes a 1 micron sediment filter and a 5 micron carbon block filter.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Sincerely,
Joseph

Hi Albert,

We can special-order SpectraPure TFC membranes upon request and have them shipped to you directly from SpectraPure.

For the two membranes, one is from Captive Purity while the other is from KentMarine. Quality-wise, they would be about the same.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

Sincerely,
Joseph

Great, thank you Joseph. I'll place my order with you as soon as i sell my current one (Captive Purity). Just looking basically to upgrade to a "fancier" unity.
