Here's a photo of my system. I purchased it used. Just looking for some direction. It's reading .4ppm currently. I'm letting it run for a few but what should I do or any one know where I can find a manual for this thing? I have no idea of the brand.

Picture for fun. Thanks for the help.

Looks like one from purewaterclub.com basically a ebay seller. Since you got it used i would change out the di resin first and then check your tds. If they are a 0 i would still change out the bottom 3 filters. You can get them online or at most LFS. The ro membrane only needs to be changed every 18 months + depending on how much water you make. You can check it by moving the tds meter after the 4th chamber. It should be reading under 10.

Ok. I'll change it out. There are two knobs. One light blue and one dark blue. The light blue continues the trash water. The bright blue creates the good water. Should these be run wide open?

Ok. So I changed the di and the three cartridges. The reading on the tds is now 000pm while running.

But it filled a 5 gallon bucket in about 20minutes. Can that kind of flow be safe?

Read my Facebook post, but the seems like something isnt right. Even a 125gpd membrane shouldn't be near that fast . Maybe if your water pressure is really really high. I would guess one of the filters isnt seated right.

Ok. The meter reads 0ppm on the out. Would it read 0ppm if it wasn't safe? Is there something I could be missing?
Or can I use this water safely? I'd like to get a mix going tonight.

Ok. Got home. 30ppm on out.

Can someone take a look at my image and tell me if the cables look right? Yellow it out from chambers.

It looks like the flow restrictor is not working properly. The waste water should be faster than the produced water to the tune of a 3:1 Ratio, more or less. Hope this helps, JOHNNY

Figured out that the guy I had it bought from had it set up and routing water around the membrane. Works fine now.

One problem I see with the unit is that your di is running in a horizontal chamber a lot of times what happens with any horizontal chamber is the water starts channeling and it will go over the top or around the DI and not through the DI it will go in a channel and not through the complete chambers... In my opinion I would get rid of those horizontal chambers and just get a stand up single-chamber they are very cheap 6 to 12 dollars local I have an extra internal cartridge if you need one
