We finally got our RO/DI unit today! I know I should have gotten one a while back (when the tank was set up). I guess we've been really lucky with very limited algae so far. The tank is still young, so I'm hoping it will continue to be mostly algae-free.
Although we've had phosphates in our tapwater before, I guess there aren't any in there currently. I tested both the tank and tapwater today, and it was zero for both. Maybe my fuge has been sucking up any that may come in occasionally.
It's a filterguys setup, and we're getting a zero TDS reading from the DI unit. My fiance set up the system, but I guess it was reasonably easy to set up.
I just thought I'd share.
