If I could get the elbows and stuff somewhere cheap, then it would be ALOT cheaper. I can use the extra 2 housings for more sediment and carbon or di.

What fittings do you already have? Maybe you could reuse some /all of them.

Only fittings I have is the ones that attach all the housings together and elbows on each end for incoming and outgoing water.

So, depending on how many you have, you can cross off that list one or more "1/4" nipples" (straight fitting with threads on both ends), and 1/4" elbows. That will save you a bit.
