hey guys i got a question here bout ro units or at least mine.....i plan on putting my unit right under our master bedrooms bathroom and run the line under my house about 12 feet or so long and i'd say maybe 3 feet or so high to under my tank into my salt mixing tank....now i dont have the money for a booster pump but couldnt this work by fitting the output line of my ro unit to fit a quietone pump or something like that to push it through that far because i seriously doubt it can go that far with out one,i appreciate all ya thoughts on this

First off in the summertime that idea is doable, But come winter that line will freeze in 5 minutes and be of no use at all. If you have half way good water pressure it may go that far on it's own. But IMO it's a bad idea to start with.

IME, the pressure coming out of the RO/DI is fairly high. Shouldn't be too much less than your faucet. I doubt you'll need a booster pump unless you've only got 20PSI or something.

And Bill's got a great point about that line freezing.

yea i didnt think of the line freezing,i guess i may have to run it through the walls and stuff,i thought of maybe having it here in the bed room and just running a water line here but hidding a dang ro unit would be a be challenge lol
