I just changed out my DI Resin because I was starting to test 16 on the TDS meter. I emptied the storage container and refilled it back up and now my test say 29 on the TDS meter? I'm guessing that I need to change the cartridges too? It has not quite been a Year but I have used quite a bit of water?

Lonnie,

How long did you run the water before you tested? I would give it about 15 minutes and re-test.

If you get the same results, then replace the cartridges.

I emptied the 32 Gallon Trash can and refilled it. I need to test just the water coming out of the RO unit. When I first hooked it up it and test the water coming out it said 3 But now after testing all 32 gallons it says 29. I hope I'm not leaking Pickling lime back into my storage container, from my Kalk reactor.. Later when I get back home I will test water straight from the RO Unit.

I have a small glass that I cleaned out real well and rinsed multiple times with DI water. I use that little juice glass for nothing else now other than testing my DI output water. Once I start showing 1 - 2 on the DI, I change out the resin.

I have read some where that you don't get a true reading in the trash cans so I will test it by it's self and see if it is different..
